my bike is now leaking oil from forks... wtf?

and, went and changed brake flued and now wont pump....WTF?

$660. you get what you pay for lol, well i though that bike looked strong and ok. Once you fix these innitial things the bike will go sweet

there only small problems, nothing to serious... im not to stressed bout it playing around... if all faults are fixed easily im happy... but extensive work is where i start to think should i keep or should i piss it off

you know. you could probably make some money here. You bough it for 660 some one would probably pay 1000 for it brand new. Chuck it at a motorbike show and i bet for 1000 some one would be willing to buy it.

why would i want to sell it?

i have wanted one of these for my self for ages... ever since i first joined this site and seen pit bikes... then i got one but didnt keep it for long as i had to pay someone back....

now that i have got one after a year its not leaving my site

hyundi brake fluid my bro pinched from his work.... they use it in every hyundi they survice

The reason it stoped working is karma i rekon :D

Narh , these bikes are a pain in the arse to bleed the brakes most likely air in the system.. Or the brake fluid is eating the seals and the brakes are shot (long shot but possible).

Yer air in the brake system. Prob flush and start again, had this drama on mates bike, once i got them working i found that one of the washers in the banjo joint was screwed so it was letting in air and leaking fluid causing loss of pressure. Very hard to see. but working great now.

Not to sure about the forks, but does not sound good.

Yeh i had a similar problem with mine. It got knocked over one day and after that had there was no pressure in the front brake unless i pull it on very hard and fast then it worked, otherwise it would just pull right back to the grip. I tryed bleeding about ten times and then gave up and bought new resovoir and lever, chucked that on and was perfect, dont know what the hell was goin on with it. This probably dosent help ya but thought id share that

been watchin to much of "My name is Earl"?? lol Karma

hey crazy long time no talk for the fork seal try sliding a playing card (poker cards) up into the fork seal see if that stops the leak it could just be a tinny rock keeping the seal open as for bleeding the brakes empty the whole line get a small hose stick it over the bleeder nipple get a cup half fill the cup with brake fluid submerge the other end of the small hose u connected to the bleeder nipple keep it submerged! get a mate to fill the resivour on the handle bar once u see all the air and bubbles have left the hose u put from the nipple to the cup do up the bleeder nipple than u can start the standard brake bleeding process pump, release, pump, release etc... just always make sure the end of that hose doesnt lift higher than the level of fluid u have in the cup

put 125ml of oil in each fork... dosent seem like enough.... still leaking from the bottom of the forks, no where near the seals

my bro is bleed the brakes cuz i dont want to make anything worse

use a small syringe with some fuel hose on the end of it to suck the fluid out through the cali, it will remove all air as well. just remember to keep refilling the res before it empties
