umm not really true... but theres no real answer here i dont think

if you put too small of sprocket on yr wheel it wont have as much punch which is changing the engines power output
and if you put too big of sprocket on it will steal a lot/ most of its torque but rev its tits off

so basically it changes the engines whole power curve

Sorry but im with Krazed on this one, thats delivery your talking about.
The power doesnt change, the sprockets just move it around in the rev range.
Thats why you go big on the rear for tight tracks like supercross to give you that instant punch out of corners and over jumps.
Then for motcross and trails you use a smaller rear and get less punch but more top speed and a more useable spread of the power delivery (torque).

oldhack.

it all comes down to how the china man has crafted his bikes.. sure they will be half decent..

But honda has been around longer.

honda has been around longer.

you dont see a 1974 pitster pro that you can buy parts for straight off the shelf do yah? "wink"

its just easier to get parts for and yes, been around longer, i do like the way the bike handles and the way it tracks corners...

but i own a 140 yx and im proud of my china =)

unless it makes 20hp and has 12" of travel its not gonna come even close to this crf150f. soon to be 251cc an close to 30hp.

holy jesus look at that thing.... my bike is a 70 clone with 12" of travel.... but that is effin nice for a 150 "F" ..... nice bike Hack =) the Owners manual for the 150R states 22.5 hp not sure what RPM anymore but that part I do remember... that 150 F you have there mus have extensive modding for it to be that quick =)

I never got to play around on the 150F but the 150R i rode had extremely soft suspension and took corners like a dream... and some reason i think the china bastages that put my bike together have my forks wrong.... they are flush with the top triple clamp.... and every bike i see besides mine... is not flush at that spot.... makes me wonder...
