ahh i pulled the hole bike apart lol regressed head stem ect. polished the motor come up pritty shinny ill put sum pic up when i get home, last time i did the 88kit i cut to many corners with wrong bolts stuff like that i was just to keen to get it all back togeather and it didnt turn out as the way i wanted, so im starting again lol striped the hole bike down do it all write way.
if i get time ill hopfully get her all baack togeather today

Make sure you put the flat black ring in to the lower groove on the piston and the shiny ring in the top groove. Also make sure that you have the IN on the piston at the top.

and dont forget the little black o-ring that goes in the oil gallery on the block, when you put your head and headgasket back on.
and and tommy38 is right on the money. my crf88 with same 20mm carb is set almost exactly the same! my idle screw is about 2 3/4 out.. but im running a fairly heavily oiled pod filter.
