i tried one too once but on my watercooled pocket bike
it didnt work cause the magneto was causing interferance an was giving me crazy readings

i havnt tried on my pitbike cause i thought it would do the same thing but yours seems to be working good so i might buy one an give it ago

Yeh i got one at my bike aswel, i got it from target for bout $19 i think and it works sweet. It not wireless tho. only prob iv had is when the battery goes flat u lose all the settings and it goes crazy. In 1st sed i was doin 50 kms putting round lol

Yeh i was keen to do this ,so i though i would look around on ebay for a waterproof cycling computer and there only like $20 with shipping however they are not wireless :
eBay Australia: BIKE CYCLING SPEEDOMETER BICYCLE COMPUTER ODOMETER NEW (item 260137494315, end time 11-Jul-07 18:51:00 AEST)

Just wondering whether these would work?

Dude, do yourself and your local scene a favour and go into your local bike shop, like "Drift" in Newcastle and just buy one from there and be done with it! That thing off of ebay is pure shit. You dont have to buy everything off of ebay! In fact most things are better not purchased from ebay... You would get a sweet little wired version for about $30 from a bike shop and it wouldnt be ebay shit.

oi man , rarley do i buy any shit off ebay as like you said most of it is pure shit however i don't need a cycle computer that will allow me to ride the tour de france that will cost me 60 dollars.I would support "drift" however if they have any chance in making a sale they will need to lower the sale prices rather than ripping of the public with there 20% above recomended retail prices no having a go at you or the drift blokes as your probally both top notch fellas right? Im all for the local scence too ,the reason why i said "would that cycle computer be ok" is due to the fact that im about to fork out money for a new donk and don't have all the money in the world to spend on a computer that sticks on to your handle bars and tells you wheather your wearing the wrong coloured lycra today? enough of me rambling on ,perphaps I may buy that $30 unit but from drift is probally sold for $50 ,see my point man? cheers

All good mate, im not having a shot at you! I dont need the spandex option on my computer as i aint going nowhere near that gear! Hahahahah... Drift was just a suggestion mate, all good hey!

all good lol ,you seem to know your speedo's lol i just checked drifts site and there $35 (non wireless) lol ,whats better pro-cycling wireless pace-wr model or a cateye Wireless CC-MC100W at the same price?it sucks cause both don't have A lycra gauge on em .because i have no friggin idea i ride 20s

i said lol 3 times within 21 words then ...how depressing also i don't know whether to buy a c.di rev box or a cycling computer ,what realy would provide more fun?

Hadley's should have a decent one for a bit less than that.

Hahahah, i certainly know my spandex and speedos very well as i spend all day flogging them off to people! Hahah, Cateye stuff is pretty expensive and doesnt work that well really for what you pay for it. You really need a wireless one if you have USD forks though, which is pretty much going to be the case i would assume! It is a cool little gadget to have on their though. If one comes out with a spandex gauge ill let you know...

Hahahah this is the first time I checked this thread as I always thought it was too do with computers. I tried connecting one of these to my old cr80 about 5 years ago but I could never get the magnet thing to fit the spokes. Hopefully I never threw the thing out cause I now want to put it on my mini.
