Hi Guys,

popping my minibike forum thread cherry for me.

About to purchase a minibike within the next day or so, i have experince in racing pocket rockets but thought id take it to the next level now.

I've narrowed it down to 2 bikes the dhz dpro140 or the dhz drpo140 lki

I noticed most of the specs on the bikes are the same yet it has a few differences (bigger fuel tank, bigger exhaust pipe by 2mm crf plastics) etc etc

does anyone on this forum own the lki edition and is it really worth the extra 200 dollars?

Matt

they go alright, if i was you i would get the dhz pro 160, more power, and it's still cheap, but if you had the money go for the LKI 160, pretty good racebike for stock.
They go hard, it's all personal preference and modifications in the future.

im only around 70 kgs so i think 140 should be enough to rocket me along and do some decent jumps!!!

I am 16 year's old, 6"3 and 74kgs.
I find 140's have some power but get boring, save your money and buy a better bike, you'll regret buying a 125/140 and then wanting something fasting with better shocks in the future..

are you talking about the outlaw 140 and the dpro 140?

completely different bikes. outlaw is a crf50 based bike and the dpro is the larger crf70.
if your a larger older person then the i think the dpro would suit better, but yeah as everyone has said the 160 model are better.. 140's power seem to get old quick and in no time your looking for more performance..

no its actually a brand new release, its on the dhz website dhz dpro lki edition (theyre also doing a 160 lki edition)

have a browse and tell em what you think?

DHZ DPRO 140, LKI Sticker Kit, New Release - DHZ

(its not just sticker kit, read the spec sheets carefully between 140dpro and 140dpro LKI

umm, think you or myself is missing something..

there still seems to be only 1 version of the dpro 140 making the other bike you mention an outlaw
Bikes | DHZ MINI MOTO

which would make sense as the crf70 have bigger tanks..

yeah its me missing something :S lol

yeah i think id go for the larger version(dpro) as i will be wanting to do a few mini jumps, gravel tracks etc.

Also, what out of the box mods would you suggest for comfort and reliability (up to value of $500 in total)

Lol take the 500 bucks and get the outlaw 160, all the mods you need for a far better price than manually upgrading.

Speaking from experience here, started with a Pitpro 125, fun for a start, but your left coveting after something better lol

well that brings me to another scenario,

which dhz, the dhz dpro 160 or the dhz dpro160LKI

which is better bang for your buck?
