Ducar 150 upright

Hi all,

I've bought a Ducar 150cc upright motor that's destined for an old DT175 frame I've had sitting about for ever. Does anyone know anything about these motors?

i know something about Old DT's & you should of rebuilt that engine! but i have heard the Ducar will keep going & going. not very hard but all the same

Hi Hillz.

Not supposed to be fast mate. Most of the time I will have one of the grand kids sitting on the seat in front of me. They are both competent riders (my avitar is my grandson, 7 when the pic was taken) but they like to have a belt around with me and I think it's fun too.

I bought the DT as a rolling frame for $1 on ebay. No motor, or anything else much.

then the Ducar conversion sound like the go. don't want the kids smell'n like 2-stroke
