EFI Kits now available for your mini

A Thai engine manufacturer (Masato Yuminashi Engineering) has produced an EFI kit for Horizontal motors. I havnt heard much about it but I thought id post up some specs and pics of it. Im not sure what the price would be on a single unit as I have only seen the import price for bulk orders of 30+ units. If you could get a single unit id guess it would cost about 1k give or take.

id buy one for 1K. but i dont want to be the tester. i can see there is many many many hours in tuning the unit to get it right. i like riding more than tuning.

oh and i like that its a 28mm throttle body.

Charging system = battery too??, cause that is one thing i don't want haning off my bike.

I'm in a meeting with the accounts deparntment to see if my tard needs a useless upgrade Fingers crossed you don't need to run a battery & can just run it of my ORK

they have just oarded a heap of them from EFI Kits : MBE Motorsports inc.


martin from MBE was telling me about them a few days back
MBE may be stocking there engines

DJ, are you running the O2 Sensor?
In your video black box above rear shock ECU or a batter? Do you need to run it with battery?

yep running the o2 sensor

the black box is the ecu
the ecu is not as big as the box


and yep you need to run a batt

Thanks for the info Brooksy, I think it was your thread I thought of when I seen these kits. Everything Yuminashi sell is pricey so it doesnt surprise me that these kits are being sold cheaper by someone else.
Lookin forward to hearing a review from ya. Did they happen to mention any prices of the Yuminashi motors they may be selling? Are they going to be selling the 205cc?

with all that other stuff from the kit hanging on your bike, a battery will be the least of your problems !
BTW...you could use a 13.2V Lifepo battery from a RC_Boat...that weights 300 gr max:clap:

hahah PBK the sad thing is i was Queensland born and i was just as crazy up there
