elstar 125 issues

Hi I bougjt an old elstar blafe to muck around with and im stripping it down I want to get new plastics it had what looks to be crf70 plastics on it but I dont think they are right
For the bike and bodge mounted anyone know dows only genuine
Elstar plastics fit these ? Also with engine it slips and revs
Then goes a bit then slips and revs is this just a case of
Replace clutch pack or somthn deeper maybe it dies it in every
Gear under load so its my guess but just seeing what others thoughts

my thoughts are you should put pics up so i can help identify the style of the plastics..
engine slips.. what sort of clutch does it have.. a manual one? replace the oil if so with motorcycle engine oil and adjust the cable so it has slack

motor dies under load could be a couple of things 1st i would clean the carb.. also check carby mounts

Sorry meant to say does it under load engine runs sweet
Just feels like chain slipping but its not its inside engine does it in all gears
So I thought clutch but more I read they are saying shifter drum abd fork

ahh you mean slipping in and out of gears? yes then have a look at your selector key on the left hand side behind the clutch basket

is it a semi auto, with gear lever but no clutch lever, or full manual with a clutch ?

Yeah its exactly the same as white blade u showed me its a full manual bike
So klx style plastics ?

Looks like crf70 to me I was told look at shifter drum and fork ?

look behind the clutch first at the shift key, if thats fine then split the cases and have a look at the gears

Thanks guys ill get to that tomorrow im stuffing around with a pit pro for my son havn issues with it too
Wont start has good spark and cleaned everything in carby all good thre
Fires but wont run any ideas we have spark and fuel but no run
Dont understand y

take the air filter off and blow on the carby there should be no air leaking or well not much..
