When starting cold ,choke is open...after warm up choke is closed???right? well this motor is running perfect with choke in warm-up position even after it's warmed up...close the choke and bike motor dies....what's the problem? anyone?

It normally is pulled out to warm up and pushed in to ride....it is running only on warm up(pulled out)when I push it back in(the ride position)the engine dies....something is not right

can anyone help with this engine problem?

I still have this problem with my engine, has anyone ever heard of this?If so,what's causing it.....I cannot just run it like this because the engine vibration will cause the choke to close....it is not a lever on the choke,it is a push/pull deal...only runs when it is pulled out...this is the normal warm-up position. If I run it like this(out) the engine vibration will eventually cause it to close(in)and the engine dies...It has me baffled...don't know what is causing this

have you cleaned the carb out totally?
when did this problem arise or has it always been like that?
if you can ride the bike with the choke out and get the bike in to high rpm and push the choke in if the bike keeps going then it a problem with the idle circuit which usually indicates sht in the carb or poor mixture adjustment. also check all yr gaskets on the manifold and the carb for leakage. to do this keep the engine running and spray wd40 or similar around the manifold and if the engine changes note then there is a problem.
but 9 times out of 10 its just sht in the carb blocking the idel circuit..
also make sure the aircleaner is clean and not restricting the carb.
and 1 other thing is check yr fuel tank breather and fuel tap and if you have a fuel filter replace it.

^^^ I'm with stupid.

Start with pulling the carby off and removing the float bowl and checking the jets. A compressor would be handy to blow all the crap out.
