hey guys i have an atomik arsenal 110cc i think and wouldnt mind doin some mods im pretty knew to the whole mini bike thing and just wondering what can be done to my bike and where i could get parts any help would be great cheers

well you could always just get some bore work done any moto shop will do it or u can do it your self if you have the correct tools

yeah and have to spend 300$ bore it out next to nothing in price

I too have a 110cc and one thing I found quite impressive in delivery of modest power increase is all that I found on this forum.

As a starter, have a look at what our friends talk about on the porting thread. The info found in that thread is quite invaluable. If you do it by yourself, as I encourage you to, you wont spend too much and thats where a lot of the fun will be (building things up by yourself).

Another would be replacing the carb to 26mm (porting will have to follow for the manifold).

Another would be the timing mod. A link to how to do it was posted also on that porting thread if I remember correctly.

I worked on my gears by switching to a bigger main gear (from 14t to 15t - secondary gear is 37t). First and second gear is now quite useable. Im curious about what a 16t would do...

All these and I havent even touched my bottom end yet. I'm very happy about the result.

The next step i want to take is replacing the cam and the cdi box.

i was thinking of new carb 25mm mikuni are these any good? and a 37 thooth rear sprocket but cant find one any where does anyone know where i can get one? also i was thinking of stroking it to a bigger bore say 125cc how would i go about doing this?

110 > 125 Is a No Can Do. You want a 26mm Mikuni Carb and like Redstar said 1 Size bigger Front Sprocket. The Timing mod can be found at www.50mods.com. You will find Carbs and Sprockets on Either eBay or Most certainly Every Mini Bike shop In Aussie or Online.

Let us Know.

Also is your head the 2 or 3V Head.?

A 25mm would be good and when fitting this, a minimum I would further go is to match port the manifold inlet.

My 37t came as standard with my bike (14t/37t). Unfortunately, I would be the last to be able to say where in your area can you get one. Anyhow, when I opted for my 15t and couldnt find one, I ended up having one custom made at a machine shop. It naturally cost a lot more than getting it off the shelf though.

Stroking and boring are 2 different things. Stroking is to increase the length of the stroke by fitting a longer connecting rod. Boring is to increase the size of the cylinder bore to fit in a wider diameter piston. Either, or both can be done and hese would make good gain. One of the usual ways to go is to fit in a higher compression piston.

But again, for practicality and/or simplicity, I would rather first concentrate on the top end, meaning working on the head and leaving the bottom end standard at first. I would reserve that part as a latter part of the project, if, for whatever reason one cannot have them all done in one go.

mine is a 3 valve head so is there much of a difference between the 25 and 26mm? and are there any after market head kits around? i have looked on ebay for the sprocket but cant find anything that will fit

Try contacting one of the eBay sellers as many of them have Spare Parts, Its better to have the 26mm As its alot better carb and Will be better when you Mod your bike more.

does your 3 valve a steel barrel if so you can make it a 123cc with a 56mm piston, the hardest thing in doing this mod is finding a 56+ mm head gasket to suit 3 valve. As for stroking it you will find it cant be done as all the 3 valve motors i have seen have the oil pump drive running across the front of the crank. The clearance is so tight without the off set crank pin, it could be possible if you mix and match cranks and oil pump drive gears this is something i will be looking at in the future. The 123cc upgrade is great if matched with cam regrind, port and bigger carby, just dont go to big with carby as lots of bikes out there are over carbyed. 24MM works great when jetted propally. It will rev hard as it has only got a 50mm stroke and fly wheel can be lightened to make it more responsive. You could go to an inner rotor which i have seen on these motors but you run the risk of spinning the end off your crank. hope this helps

might skip an all the engine work i think what carby should i put on then? that will prob only be the mod i will do the rest is to much piss farting around would rather buy new motor
