Cant seem to get this to sit right that's as far as the bolts will go in the tube on the frame is the same length on both frames.
What have I done wrong?

that nut should be further down the thread, whats in under the black cover

i'm guessing you have tapered bearings and if so make sure the races are fully seated in the bearing cups on the frame

Could it be the head steam ain't long enough? As this ain't the stock frame

Turns out arch is right it's just a tiny bit different.

head stem too long.. use longer bolts and spacers under the top clamp between the fork and clamp.

Ha ha I edited my post because first off I said it was the head stem being too short and then I thought about it and wasn't sure so questioned it and rephrased how I said it ha ha. I should just always stick with what I first say... I'm always right haha

I think I'm justgonna get a frame from faster minis stay with the stock for now
And get rid of that other one. What's best bet for money with the frames from faster Minis?

maybe hit up terry from fire power minis or jamie from classic honda 50s for frames...

red baron is good and there frame keeps the 50 pretty small. Billetware are really popular too. But yeah I'm not expert! I would just stick with the stock frame and strengthen it! I'm big on using stock parts... maybe because I'm a bit of a tight ass. But it is an 88 so yeah guess after market frame but then you should use better forks.

My stocka flys! It's a little weapon and its so light. But yeah each to there own. I have a cxz175 midsize pittie so yeah if i want to go fast I go on that
