Dont run lollie water < IE ethenol , the rest is the same , most of the time shell bp all truck there high octane fuel from the same depot ,

Yeah but you need a MA national racing licience.

Or you could just make it:D

There is an independent service station not far from me which sells 100 octane fuel. It is the only premium they have.

Not sure why the license is needed. I believe BP used to also sell a fuel called Extreme which was 100 octane rated. That only lasted for a couple of years though.

How about Vpower? Is this the same as optimax?

Logic

There is a shell in sydney on pennant hils road that sell 100 octane. You see plenty of the speedway cars there on a saturday afternoon filling up on it.

How is your pump octane rated? Ours is research+motor/2 so it may be different. On the average stock-ish engine, there's no advantage to "race gas" unless using an oxygenated one like MR12 (what I use, almost exclusively, on our racers). Up to 11% power gain over pump swill, 5-6% over regular race fuel, made for moderate compression engines. Vile smelling, even in the can, and gums the carb if left in, but does add power. Unless the station you use sells a lot of premium, it may have been sitting in the tank a long time. For a performance bike, pick a good alcohol-free brand and stick to it, once jetted correctly. All blends are a tad different, even with the same octane, and jet up differently. Plug read with unleaded is tough.

4+ year old thread revival :action-smiley-035:

Doesn't that 100 octane stuff contain ethanol?
