hey guys, i've just recently heard about the "Gas Gas" bikes from a friend. i did some research on em and found that there spanish? and apparently they make decent trials bikes. so are they any good?
cheers,
jack

I have never ridden or seen one but some family friends of mine rave about them. They have sold their jap bikes in favor of them so they must be alright

yeah, there isnt any 4 sale around (that i've seen just lookin for 5 mins, haha) nor does there seem to be much info. how much would they be worth compared to jap bikes? as in higher/lower price.

I do like these bikes, especially this one.......

yea, its a pretty nice bike, but wat wud be the price of parts? i wud think it would be quite high, maybe higher then KTM (if thats possible??) but i would also think that carb may be a bit 2 big 4 it? please correcxt mne if im wrong, i really wanna learn as much as possible about carbs.

gass gass are a really big player in the trials market and i think they have been around for some time.. there not cheap but probably a couple grand cheaper than a ktm and maybe even better (although im inlove with wp suspension)

too big ?? nah, the older 2 stroke YZ125's ran a Mikuni TMX35 Flatslide.
my 2 stroke IT200 has a Roundslide mikuni 34mm
my mates 2 stroke RMX250 has a Keihin PJ38

2 strokes run much bigger carburetors

the 125's go very hard

i cnat say i would not mind a trials bike.. the ossa explorer is meant to be coming to aus soon enough

some GASGAS electric trials bikes-
your neighbours would be less likely to complain about noise from these !
the only thing is, i dont think they'd like you riding up and over the bonnet/roof/boot of their new car.
or doing drop offs, off their verandah. !!!

I plan on getting an oset for my daughter, they are great for kids. GasGas sell the electric kit to fit in most late model trials bikes, too pricey for me though. Have been toying with the idea of building an electric trials bike myself to save cost

There is a motorbike store in dandenong, Melbourne 3175 VIC which is called "Gas Gas motorcycle's" he sells used bikes road bikes all brand bikes is that just a made up business as it is a faimly business they run and the owner lives in my back street and has some pretty good bikes and cars in his garage.

LOL we are have you guys been the last 10 years!! hahahaha

Gas Gas are good bikes. Run Zhocci front forks as well.

Like all Euro bikes they are expensive though. The EC300 is a ripper of a bike for the bush.

They have been making Trials bikes since trials began.

Is that the place in Bennett st? Remember going to a wreckers in Bennett st years ago and he also sold gasgas bikes, was very tempted to get one to replace my dt200
