Gear slipping

Okay. I'll try to score that too. So i attack it from the clutch do I?

Yep.. You take off the head and barrel first then the clutch cover take all the internals out then undo all the bolts for the centre cases and then on the flywheel side there'll be a little black cap. Underneath that is an allen key bolt undo that and the gear drum should come out.

I'll try and put together a tutorial i guess afterward. any extra information people can give me will help alot! I'll put in pics and get people to point out my screwups afterwards!

may i ask why your not going with warranty on this?

also im not sure if daytona's are prone to cracking cases but it may be worth a look..the cases crack behind the kick start gears.
a cracked case can give similar problems like your having..

my understanding is it means they dont do any of the work. i could be wrong on that. but i seriously wouldnt expect much from it. 1.5 month bike warranty and 3 month engine warranty? not exactly fantastic

mate the engine should be replaced/repaired totally for free.
not just parts warranty..

there having a lend of ya mate, as you said it was only a week old

that not how to do the shift drum but it still shows a few steps you will have to do

yeah shift drum replacement requires the whole engine to be split..
not an easy job for a first timer..
