Yeah the outwears are pretty big I used the same one on the filter for my 20mm carb as the 26mm carb I have now. I bought my outwears on eBay for $30.

Do they actually work or are they just a look kind of thing?

Yeah they are awesome, I have rode in some pretty dusty conditions and the filter doesn't even look like it needs to be change when you take the outwears off.

I measured the filter for ya and its around 90mm diameter but the elastic is a little bit smaller so I would say as long as your filter is smaller than 80mm diameter u should be right.

Haven't done an update in a while been pretty busy and been spending a bit of time on the big bikes. I ordered a Black Boyesen ignition cover late last week from the US so will be keeping my eye out for the postman over the next couple of weeks. I've got a few other parts that I am wanting to order over the next few weeks like a lightspeed carbon fibre chain guide and fork guards, rear sprocket (most likely a renthal honeycomb style in black) and a set of S&M perfect 10 handle bars.

New Kitaco 15T front sprocket, just need a nice rear sprocket to match.. Not bad for $20.

Wont fit the CRF50 unless you have a takegawa 4,5 or 6 speed trans .. these are for Z50 shafts and not the same as a crf50 shaft spline .. if the sell said they were CRF50 request a refund or resell it to a china bike owner as it'll work for them as they use the same splines as a z50 motor

Yeah I've got the ahp 4 speed trans which has the same shaft as a z50.. It's a bit hard finding a nice looking front sprocket for the z50 style cos most renthal etc are made for the crf50..

Finally got my bike to the point I can call it a full mod.. Bought a set of zokes with a 12" front wheel and formula disk brakes. I also got my boyesen ignition cover today in the mail so it was a good full afternoon out in the garage.. I still have a bit of work tomorrow sorting out the cables, lowering the triple clamp and making up a bracket to hold the front number plate but I though I would throw up a couple of picture to give you all a look..

Haha yeah I was just looking at the first page of this thread and it made me laugh. Just need to get a new rear wheel and brake leaver and it will be all aftermarket.

Nearly there.. haha. I was thinking about going for a fast50s billet wheel for the rear. The price would be pretty close to a spoked wheel with quality parts.
