i know theres allot of similar threads about this but yea, im selling my old bike and i want to get a 140cc.
im 15 nearly 16, 179cm tall and 75kg, my old bikes suspension duznt do well with my weight.
a this point in time i have enough money to get the ProX 140cc ORION but seeing as there more expensive than a pit pro 140 i could buy that instead, i've heard the pit pro's are great bikes and im starting to swing for the pp because of the awesome engine they have, but the pro x is bigger (it is isn't it?) i just want to know what bike u guys reckon i should get.
if u have a look in my pic gallery the bike i have has a **** house frame and i love both bikes frames that im looking at.
or if you have any other good bikes for or under $750 please let me know.

pffft... should that even be a question?? lols, PITPRO140........you WONT be Disapointed!! The frames on these bikes are tough as nuts mate... a big improvement from the crappy crf look-alike frames:D

I'm dissapointed with my pitpro in terms of jumping ability, but really any bike this cheap is going to have problems.

forks bottom out very easily, and the bolt through the axis of the rear swingarm is slightly bent already.

replace it with a high tensile, non chinese bolt

no sub $1k pitbike comes with forks that wont bottom out on jumps... you need fastace or better for that

pit racer

im 15 as well, iv had an orion they are **** the pit pro's are good but for a good price and good quality go on ebay and type (pit racer) half the stuff on the bike is bse which is good and the engine is race ready iv raced it and i dominated so if you want a good bike for that price get the pit racer i paid $810 for mine but iv seen them go for about $650 cheers.

PIT PRO!
my pit pro 140XR is on its way as we speak, i chose the PP over the Pro X
because ALOT of people have had trouble with the Pro X, so the choice was
easy for me!

the pitpro 140xr is a very good bike.im 73kg and never have a problem with suspension and its a large ramp to ramp jump. front forks r nice and responsive and the rear is smooth whilst also hard.engine is awesome no other mini bike has beatin me yet and the frame has very good welds and is strong

go the pitpro , :D
ive had a 140 for 6 months now and touch wood no problems with it yet ,
im 87 kgs and it hasnt broke anything , the suspension is as good as the day i got it ,
also my kids have the 125 models and theres is good as too :D :D

EXPERIENCE

the pitpro is due next week.

and i just sold my pro-x 140 big valved big bore lifan

these bikes are vastly underpowered in comparison to a true lifan 140 race block

they have an excellent box..nice winey straight cut gears..which seem to loose them selfs when u ride them out. started loosing 3rd...i experienced difficult carb problems with thier 28mm..(pp=30mm). they came with a nice fingertip adj fast ace rear shockie

the bbr style exhaust on the pro-x was a piece-a-**** with what i believe to be an incorrect fit for that bike. the gearing ratio on the bike is nice. but not biult for high speeds. more chop and dash. but due to the poor performance it just didnt work

all in all they come pretty much ****** to **** in terms of quality set-up

the pitpro is the way to go mate...experience talking. u dont even have to look at the specs of each bike. just take a look at the set up on the pit pro. the frames beautiful
