Glowing exhaust

Wat does it mean when u start a 160ho motor an after a minute or so the pipe near the header is glowing red it hadn't been started in around 6months I've started it its choughing an splattering wat could it be

Might be a partly blocked pilot jet or blockage in the pilot circuit.
It's running lean

May also be a stuffed stator, mine was doing this recently, and chased everything else then an hr or 2 before the first race, put in a new stator and it fixed it. Try the above first though.
