by how much though? cause im a bit jealous :cheeky-smiley-031:
im still trying to rap my head around the fact my 160 is so much more powerful in every way than the vertical 250s. No one put enough emphasis on it, I got the impression the 250 would have a bit more down low but the 160's rev a lot higher and make more up top. Nope. they utterly demolish a 250, by a HUGE margin
so again. how does a GPX125 compare? use big meaningful words :cheeky-smiley-031:
If it helps, how do the 160s compare to 140s then? cause it seems like theres a massive gap between them
most of the 250's use poorly designed heads with the same valvesizes as the tb v2 head and also run pushrods that also like to suck power (some of them) they have good low down tourque and thats abotu it probably because of camgrind and borexstroke configuration and they dont run high comp (or as extremely as tbv2head) also the cam grind cant be to agressive and highly sprung because of the pushrods plus they have the same valve sizes and then push them through a big and bulky gearbox and weigh heaps..
its mainly about flow and some configurations though thats usually what makes a good engine.. oh yeah and not grenading every 10 hours also makes a good engine
lets compare a lifan 140 to the 150
they run a different less agressive cam in the lf140 to actually use a bit of power with the exrtreamly long bore and little piston where as because the lifan 150 has a little better bore to stroke ratio they can use stronger valve springs and a higher lift cam therefor they make more power but to get the best out of them you have to run the biggest bore in them and bigest valves to get the best top end performance you will ever get out of the restrictive design
