Hi a have a gpx125 Race engine the engine is straight out of the box, I recently brought a oko flatslide 26mm carby from dhz to replace my piece of junk mikuni 26 roundslide and the oko flatslide standard jets are 36 slow jet and 102 main, and It will only start when the choke is on but when riding it feels fine all the way through the rev range is a 95 main jet a bit better for this engine??

95 or 96 would be a good choice mate..

the too large of main jet that is in it now is probly the reason for the hard starting..

does it have any hesitations or bog spots while accelerating thru to full noise?
the slide needle may need moving to clean it up...

In my experiences the 26mm OKO is a nightmare to get working spot on bolted onto a 125. You can either get it great off the start with crap top end or vice versa.
I found it best to use a 36/96 jet combination with the clip 1 up from middle on the needle.
If you have any manifold leaks or valve clearance issues they may not of been noticed with the Mikuni but once the OKO is on there these problems are truelly obvious.

mine is a lifan 125. it made a massive difference in performance but i feel a 26mm is a tad to big

different strokes for different folks i guess..

26mm imo is fine, specially in a gpx125.. more comp better than standard cam grind (i think) not to mention they run 26mm carbs on smaller engines..

you can try moving the needle down a little to clean the bottom up.. (move the needle clip 1 notch at a time)

A 26mm carb on an unworked 125 is a bad idea...specially a flatslide...youcan try a slightly bigger pilot jet, but I doubt that thing can dialed in well on this engine!

My oko flatslide has made a massive difference in power especially in the mid and top end and this is not a stock 125 it came with high comp piston inner rotor kit and race cam, my mate has a daytona 125 and we think there is no difference in motors at all :)

I run an oko26 on my daytona125, Its is amazing what it does for the mid to top end.
I have a 35 pilot and a 102 main and needle on the middle.
There really isn't any difference between the gpx and daytona, but with the daytona ignition when you advance it to stage 3, the daytona is alot quicker and has an extra kick. But its really only noticable on tar.

Your properly right about the tar but when we have it on stage 3 on the dirt it doesn't like it at all Nevis most of the time where not in the high rev range, but your right there is really no difference at all just the price ;)
