IMG_20120730_165226.jpgI'm new to the bike scene and I'm trying to find some answers. I was given a mini chopper by a recent widow. It was her husband's and she knows nothing about it. At some point there were training wheels added and they raised the seat about 6" by welding some pipes on. There is no VIN or serial#. The motor and most, if not all, parts are from Japan. I looked up the model# on the motor and it says it's a 110cc but my dad says he doesn't think it's that big. And we don't even have any idea how old it is other than it's been parked in a barn untouched for 6 years. Does anyone recognize what make this bike might be????

motor and parts from Japan?
the chopper looks like it was made in china?
so there isnt a frame number on the side of the headtube, where the forks go through?

did you find the engine number on the side of the motor below the sprocket?

there are so many different makers of them, here's a few-

Thanks for that information.
Looking at it again, I guess the motor is from China while other parts are from Japan.
We've even turned it upside down looking for #'s but there is nothing on the frame.
I think I'm gonna have to give up on finding out what kind it is. Hopefully I'll have it running by the end of the week though, as I've had to almost completely redo the wiring.

Who's told you that there are Japanese parts on it?
Because I can almost certainly tell you that its Chinese, every bit of it.

Do you really need to know what make it is? I mean is there anything that you need to replace on it that is really brand specific? Because most of those parts will be available on ebay to some extent but they will be under different brand names anyway as most of those bike sellers would only be around for a couple of months at a time :)

The motor looks like a Loncin 110cc if that is of any help :)

Great post. A lot of useful information here. I***8217;m sending it to some friends!

Most of the parts actually say "made in Japan".
As for what kind, I was just wanting to know and figured it might help with trying to get a VIN# & get it registered because there is no VIN# and no title.

Even then I really doubt that they're Japanese haha
Can't help you much about the VIN number, as there are hardly and mini choppers in Aus and we can't get them legally registered

does it have a Japan T/A Mikuni? made in china...
