hey guys,

Names jordan and im new to biking. never owned a bike let alone ridden one until last week. brought myself a 2007 Atomik 125cc and i have a few questions?

-Anyone know wat model i have from the pics?
-HOw do i adjust the idle? i have been playing with a screw on the carby but i think i am playing with mixture.
-Bike is quite hard to start sometimes wat could it be?
-Wat grade oil do i need to run as it is getting low? does it have an oil filter?

hey jordan with the idle screw there is a screw with a spring under it and thats on the carby so adjust that umm with the oil its just standed gearbox oil that u will get from a motocycle shop just pour the oil in where the dipstick goes in with the bike starting adjust the idle screw and fuel mixture screw and make sure the choke is on

hey mate, it is a ????- 2006 model agb 21. not the best bikes around, but yours seems to be a good honest bike, i had one of those, just check your frame and keep the air filter oiled and the cahain lubed and its all good mate

Wrong about the oil , gearbox oil = 2 strokes only ( seperate sump ). Use 10W/40 motorcycle specific engine oil , Mobile or motorex works best. Use ya dipstick to messure it up. Run the bike around the block and check it again , checking the engine oil level while the bike is as pointless as tits on a bull.No oil filter , best to replace drain plug with a magnetic unit.

Bike is an ebay thing , agb 21 but something else. Check ebay its basically a agb21

Hard to start = check valve clearence's

idle = Wind in to increase idle , wind out to decrease idle.
Mixture screw = Wind in to rich'n up (more fuel ) , wind out to lean it off ( Less fuel ) , factory setting = 2 - 2.5 turns out

hah thanks for your help guys. pink looked good eh panda haha i in all honesty cant find an idle screw :S i have look everywhere and there isnt a single screw with a spring behind it. ill try get some pics up. would changing the spark plug help with starting? it seems to go fine and then if i stall it or stop it it doesnt seem to want to go again....

screw on the side of your carby where the slide runs on the inside

yes changing the spark plug will help but i`d also check the valve clearances as unit_mx said.

all sorted guys, still a lil hard to start. got the idle sorted aswell runs like a dream used a tank of fuel today still not sure wat model i have got. im pretty sure it is a 2007 model atomik motox maybe?
