Hey guys, this is bush mechanics 101.
Decided to make a tut for a fuel catch can. When your doing motard the last thing you want is fuel on the track and all of a sudden your on your ass. So here is a tut on how to make your own catch can...
What you will need:
.A little bottle (I had a mini bundy spare)
.Drill (Could use a screw driver if your determined)
.2 cable ties
.A Stanley knife or in my case a pocket knife
.Fuel line
.Drill bit depending on the size of your fuel line
Steps
1. Get the fuel line and attack it to your carby (Overflow)
2. Cut the lines at 260mm long (26cm)
3. Get the lid of your bottle and drill it out make sure you use the right size tip so that the line is tight
4. Place bottle on your bashplate and cable tie it to the engine mount.
5. Then put the lid on with the lines and check to see if the lines are to long if they are trim them down so that they sit around 20mm inside the lid.
6. Now your done and you wont put any fuel on the track
Pics:
If anything is out of wack any other bush mechanic can add to it
Cheers
