I want a 5pin cdi but my bike runs a 6pin...?

My SSR 125sr runs a std cdi with 6 pin. I live in America and all I find is 5 pin cdi's. Can I convert my 6 pin adapters to a 5 pin adapter? If so How?

im pretty sure you can get an adapter, but why would you convert?

My pit bike runs a cdi with box adapters like the one in the pic though. It does not run the rounded ones, unless I can fit it still.
