Can u even get the yx 160 anymore ?
Ooh sounds like there might be a 5 buck lottery ticket on this. Lol
Im lead to believe that the ho has a slightly longer stroke than the earlier model.
If what your saying is right that would mean not many people at all are running 184 but in fact a 177
Haha, yeah I could always use 5 bucks.
Here's a thread I found with some info.

My paypal addy is.............lol. :grinning-smiley-003
And hey Killpatrickyum, I'm pretty sure you can still get the yx. Just gotta search.
And don't worry about getting lapped, with all this power your gonna have, and a bionic shoulder, you'll be ripping.
I seem to have hit a miniriders nerve with this one ay
Thing is, mate got the dhz with 155z and we both agree the two motors respond differently his is much more grunt n torque of the line and through each gear where as mine has more range I'm pretty sure we running the same size sprockets , could this noticeable difference be just from the different cam n everything? Has the ho got a milder cam? My mate reckons you would need a computer or something to measure the area between the piston at full stroke n the head n measure the area of compression and compare each motor or something ?? I dunno....
Now just to make this thread even more interesting n to make me not sleep for another week of thinking , why , but why has no one mentioned the v4 head shouldn't I be looking at that ??????
Ok sweet thanks guys, u been very helpful, any thoughts on what I said bout riding my mates z155 compared to mine?
Well must be in the different heads. From what I've heard, the 160ho has a bigger inlet valve and different cam grind. This alone would make the power curves quite different.
Your mate might win a 20 meter drag race, but I bet you would win a 100 meter drag.
The 155z has a different gear ratio on the drive gear to the clutch giving them better take off. I much prefer the 155z over the 160ho for acceleration
