I just went for a ride on the pitbike,We turn it off.Went back to ride it and now the key won`t turn in the ignation,it just won`t move,if i try harder,I`m scared the key might brake.......See what you do is turn the key to the red point for on,then you kick start it.
At the moment it is on the black which is off and it won`t turn...Of tried wd40,Air compress it......just need help......Can I unplug it at all?

tried pushing the key in further, turning it opposite way etc? aside from the barrel and lugs actually crapping themselves, or an electical issue frying and "welding" the barrel in one place, cant really see any reasons for it.
The key barrel can be removed, and wires linked to provide a "closed" link or circuit.. which wires, i cant tell you off hand without having one in front of me...

just follow the barrel untill it goes into it plugs into the rest of the other wires and pull it out, now you wont need the key or any thing

should be a connector plug,

black to black, green to green, red to red, etc etc etc...

not going to post a link, you can do the searching..."how to wire a bike, kickstart" or something along those lines... bypass the stupid thing altogether... probably run if you find the black/white wire and yank it...and then the killswitch wont work:p unless you find the other end that runs to the killswitch... (more than likely its also black/white).... then join em together...it just wont charge a battery then.

 you put OIL in a key barrel? (WD40)

graphite, and only graphite should be used....

LOL, I giggled when I read it originally lol..

Had a mate who had rust in his car. repaired it, then put silicon on it to 'seal' it... **slaps forhead** Never trust a plumber to do car repairs! LOL..

if there are only two wires coming out of the key barrel, cut them, join them. problem solvered.

maybe you should try putting the key in the ignition instead?

Nah, wouldnt steal a bike on principal. Even if The Chad parked one of his old YZF's at maccas and went in for a slash... Had a bike and an R34 Skyline stolen. tis heartbraking.
And offtopic. lol

keys are lame, you shouldnt have to cut the 2 wires they should just pull out of conections

Cheers All-I have made a video on this problem on Youtube.....type in 090908 091523 or Pokerkingcrew........Now you will see the problem!!!!!!It still starts but only for a bit, then it goes back into the black and dies....you will see on the video,I have made....cheers!

I can`t stand ignation problems....Why do they put them on these sorts of pitty`s......Cheers for the help!

Have you tried taking the key switch out altogether and joining the old wires as suggested, or you still dicking around with the key set-up?
