hi is the lifan 125cc engine with type r head any good as i think my engine just blew up.
i connected one of them nitrous setups off ebay and it was working very well for less than 1 minute. now my engine wont start and white smoke is comming out of the exhaust. can you diagnose this problem before i buy this new engine??
 
where exactly did you connect it?

them kits are really no good mate...

Alright sounds like your valves to me mate. What experience do you have with bikes? You need to make sure your bike is all se up correctly before you try starting it to avoid issues.

you connect them into your air cleaner and it squirts into your carb..more or less like a octane booster but in a gas rather than liquid
 
Yeah I know he has, first link I put up was the wrong one I just have them saved to my desktop ready to be cut and pasted lol. It sounds like valves! Those nos thing are freaking stupid.
 
lol nos on a pitbike, cant see the point in that but would be interesting to see whether it actual does anything
 
looks like they nothing but trouble.... not sure if i would like putting something that make soft drink fizz throw my bike,,,,, hope you can fix the motor..
 
nos on a pit bike isnt all that good for a motor that isnt tuned for it..

your spose to add extra fuel when using nos.(bigger main jet)

if the engine leans out theres chances of it breaking a piston or shattering the rings.. also can burn a hole in the exhaust valve because the exhaust gas can act like an oxy torch..

pull your head and barrel off to find the damage
 
lol yes thats the nos kit i bought. i drilled and tapped it into my intake manifold. mate it makes heaps more power but like you said they are not built for this **** box i own lol.how do i adjust the valves
 
i seen a 2010 gpx race engine on dhz it says it revs to 13000 rpm .sound all good but what do u guys think????it costs only $399
 
I think you shloud do away with all the ricer thing and leave it up to the cars for that champ. take the motor to the closest mini bike shop get it checked out b4 you go buying new motor cos it cld be jst something simple.. that wont cost a arm and a leg..
 
white smoke = rings or piston
no starting =no compression ,due to rings and or piston having there arse bashed out by a mod not correctly installed and not made for what it was fitted to
you stated you tapped into the manifold hope you did this while it was removed from the bike or did you do it on so all the bits of metal went into the engine

want to go faster = cog change ,bigger cc engine ,carby. not cheap arse mods
but dont feel to bad ur not the first to do this i know of another guy who put nos on his pitty
he said that it went as hard as hell right up to the point that it crapped itsself lol

my opinion formed whilst in a bad mood
 
I have an idea I have a spare 140cc Ill stap up 2 nos systems at once and wait till it go BOOM lol.
