hi all, my brother just bought an orion 125cc dirtbike off ebay
his abit new bikes, and he asked me but i wasnt 100% sure

he said theres 2 plugs one on each side of the motor
im thinking one is for engine oil and 1 is for the gearbox oil,

but wanted to check 100% first but im not sure which side is what
like is the left side for gearbox oil or is the right side?

and is there any specific oil it need or just any motorbike engine and gearbox/transmission oil?

thanks guys

ps: here is the website of one thats the same as he bought.

the gearbox oil and the motor oil are the same so I don't know what the other plug is for.

and also so is there any engine oil that should got in there or just any motorbike engine oil?

2nd pic is definately dipstick dont now what the other is but the oil you should use is 10w40.

The plug in the first pic is to be able to see the top dead center mark etched on the flywheel against the casing notch.

Adding a little more, if you go down a bit this plug, you'll see that bigger plug removable by a big flat screwdriver. That one is to gain access to a nut that connects to the crankshaft and with a socket wrench, you can turn the engine as you aim for top dead center.

Definitely no oil in any of these plugs please.

1st pic is the hole you look through to see when the motor is on top dead centre. Don't worry about it. 2nd pic is the oil dipstick use it to check and fill the motor.

i wana make my 125 orion faster anytips on what i can do to it :)

Just to let you know the date of the thread is on the top left hand side of the post. Bringing up old threads doesnt really get much of a response at all so try searching for more recent threads as there are many that will answer your questions.

Cheers mate and welcome to the site ;)

oh and the search button is at the top of the page. So many people dont see it
