just got this CRF250R $5250. what you guys think

Just bought a CRF250R 2006 for $5250. i know its got sick rims and hubs but dont know much about bikes as im learning, what do you guys think about my new bike.

yeah its bloody awsome, i was talking about white plastics and not seeing them on a CRF before and now i have, might need some work done though, looks like the chain might need some oil.

ah yeah will i took it out for the first time on the weekend,, didn't go to bad,, but its the first time i rode it so had nothing to compare too,, yeah i thought beacuse im buying it used i should get it serviced, its currently at the honday shop in ringwood, getting fully serviced, and tuned.

that looks tight son, man i love those dual exhausts and those rims. . .yeah u got a pretty sweet deal, do you know if its had any work done (recent rebuilds, reeds or anything special).

bike hasn't had a rebuild, lol the 'V' can was my little touch, yeah... anyone got any ideas of what i should do to it. but i dont know whats already done up, i dont wanna waste money on doing a part up thats already done up.

Looks pretty good mate! Is this your first MX Bike???

Because its a few years old and looks to have done a bit of engine hours on it make sure to keep on top of ALL the maintanence required!!! Airfilter the most important, oil, valves etc etc and the list goes on.

You should take the Rear LED light off it, get some Background Graphics and give her a nice clean!!!

yeah mate my first mx bike, other then this ive had a china 125. lol. bike had done around 250km the guy said, how big does the list get?.. i dont know

once you get it back from the honda shop it will be right to ride they should adjust/replace ya valves if necessary, change ya oil etc etc..........general maintenance= Change engine and trans oil every 10hrs or 3 rides depending on lenght of rides, oil filter every second oil change, clean and re oil your airfilter after every ride, i would go buy a few spare airfilters you can never have enough.......a clean airfilter is the life and blood of a 4 banger mx bike, riding with dirty airfilter = valve replacement/adjusting.......take the time to clean your airfilter after every ride you wont regret it

just take it to the bike shop after every 10 or so rides, and do what the guys have said.
