Keihin PE 28 Setup

Hi, I have a YX160 4V motor with a Keihin PE 28 carb fitted, with 130 and 35 jets fitted...

I just cannot get the bike to run... It will run if you bump start it with the choke on, but it will rev up alot, then as soon as you touch the choke, it will die, or if you give it any throttle, it will die... So it will only run with the choke on, but thats it... The needle cannot be adjusted, so I have no control over that..

Could any one help

Pilot is way too small...try a 42 and go from there ..and certainly a smaller Main like 102 or so!

I have a daytona 150 with a PE28 and im running a 112 main , even tho the book recommended 125-130, which was too rich.

Your PE28 not having the clips will be a copy and you might find the real keihin jets may or may not fit.

I brought my Keihin jets from webike "shiftup" do 6 pack kits at about £8.20
