cdi unit dead wee, a whole bucket of problems here...

yes, replacing the cdi would eliminate the electrical system faults if there is any.

Hey i got a brand new NGK spark plug. I connected a car battery to the bike.(it dont start). I tried it to the starter motor that dont even turn over. And there is a starter motor but no kick start gears.

So does anyone know what else i should do next??

did u connect the car battery straight onto the starter motor terminals?
the starter motor wraps around the crank!

changed ur cdi yet? if its the problem, changing the spark plug and puttin a car battery will do nothing at all if the cdi's crapped in the first place.

Killswitch off?
Is it neutral only kickstart?

your starter should spin the motor over or at least make a noise if you put 12v directly onto it reguardless of killswitch and other jazz.

maybe not enough spark?
depending on the age of the bike, have you checked your valves?
have you cleaned you carby?

That shouldnt be a problem yet. Valves wouldnt need to be done as it hasnt had much rides. And the bike aint making a noise.

if you have good valves, a clean carby, good spark, then it can be a electrical problem.
have you checked all your wiering?
what happend the last time you rode the bike?

It wasnt my bike. Got it for free as it is stuffed. Decided to take it and try to fix it. Iv never rode it.

how does the compression feel? if low then you need some new rings ( happend to me )

I dont think its to do with that. So far people have told me kick start gears are gone. And something is wron gwith electrics. What else could it be?

Its a zongshen 250 motor

well if your kick start gears are gone and the electrics are stuffed then that would be your problem.
i also got the same engine..
