Loud tapping after 146kit install

Hi guys love the site, Ive been reading a heap the last few weeks and you guys have been really helpfull. Anyways ive got a 08 125cc pit pro that ive been playing around on, i recently bought a 146cc kit off ebay (yes i know some ppl dont trust thing bought on ebay haha) ive installed it all corectly but i did have trouble finding TDC on the flywheel. The bike runs pretty good apart from the tapping noise, ive taken the head off and the valves dont look like there hitting or bent. I know exactly where tdc is on the cam but im unsure of the flywheel marks. Does someone have a pic of where they are on the case? Theres a F and a T then a arrow but where do u line the T up with??

Can someone give me some advice on this. Could it be something else tapping (timing chain,head gasket etc)

i had this same problem with my 146....i think they make this noise on purpose lol
mine kind of went away after a while..

line T up with a notch on the top of the case, on the inside wall..get down low to see it.

when i pulled my head off and mucked around then put it back on i had a ticking noise and it was the cam chain slapping on the case. check its tight.

found the damn problem, the kit off ebay comes with a 13mm gudgin pin, but the lifan 125cc has a 14mm gudgin pin, the play in the piston was the culprit. Now i just neeed a 57mm piston with a 14mm gudgin pin to suit my conrod.

i have a high compression one here that i got for an YX motor but i needed a 13mm gudgen i ordered a 14mm woops...

all good replaced it today and its running nice now, still a light tap but ill do the valve clearances to see if that helps, Also would the carby need adjusting now that its a 146cc??
