mid sized thumper, motard conversion

2010 BSE 160cc mid sized

I have been looking into racing at the archerfield track and am looking at converting my bike to a semi motard "be able to switch back and forth".

The problem i am facing is that my pitty has a front 17 rear 14 set up and i can only find 12/14 combinations so far.

I have searched everywhere "i think" and cant find motard rims/tires in that config so what are my options on this?

Can you get a 14/14 set up and would that be fine on my bike?

And also, being a bigger bike i take it i wont have to modify the front forks to fit the motard rims?

the mini motards all run 12/12. you can run that setup on a midsize (crf70) no probs.

Have a read through the motard threads there is a wealth of info in them.

First thing you will need obviously is wheels...a few guys have these and seem to be a good setup.

Was just worried bout the size of the bike and smaller rims but I suppose if it works then itl be sweet.

nah its cool...im doing a crf70 size tard build atm..
