Very busy atm, but will make an effort to get to the track this weekend and talk to barry about getting a friday nite again.. under lights was way better IMO. That or maybe a dirt one - at riply or something... i'll post as soon as i have some details.

another friday night one under lights would be awsome, I dont have a bike for the dirt so might have to miss that one.

I'm all for the asphalt and happy to help organising something! - so many places you can hit the dirt!

Maybe if we can find a good solution for the noise and slider thing Lakeside would be an option! Or maybe some other place...any good ideas?

Thumbs down for lakeside, I'm banned from riding there.. lol

london the slider rule at lakeside isnt hard to comply with as you have seen from our bikes, the noise limit is much the same thesedays as long as you have an effective muffler that can get you to the noise limit you will be good to go. I have been runing my bike at lakeside exacly the same as when you see it at archy the pro circut muffler does the job.
Personaly I dont get the baging that some people have for lakeside, so if you dont like it for what ever reason thats fine dont ride there your choice. But it isnt like we have so many venues to chose from that we can afford to kill one off. Me personaly I like both venues they are very different to ride and both have aspects that are good and not so good. TyD if your banned thats nothing to do with the venue there would be a valid reason.

PS: whens the back yard nationals at your place Pete? I'd be up for that lol

Yeah we spoke about this Tina and I'm keen to try Lakeside as the track is a bit more big track style. Just need to sort out my exhaust and you will see me there! By the way - guess I have to change sprocket size for Lakeside as it's a faster track!?

Hi londin
the gear ratio I use for lakeside is 15 37, when I run at archy my bike is basicly a 3 speed as the ratio is to tall. I'm not sure what the right ratio would be for your motor as I think the 155z has different internal ratios but hopefully that will give you a start point.

Don't worry Tina, wasn't trying to persuade you to a certain track or away from a track, it is just my personal opinion of the people there...

yeah same cmon pete spill tha beans!!!
also is it true that these sessions have been so squeeby could take photos for 50's brotherhood???!!!
PLEASE EXPLAAAAAAAAAAIN!!!

Is their anything like this for down in melbourne!? im keen as to get into tard but not sure where a track is? :s

yeah sam. there is south morang track. you can go on what ever day you want for $35. it is a good place to get into it. if you go on the week day no one is there so you pretty much have the whole track to yourself.

and there is Dandenong kart track which is open every Wed night from 6:00 to 11. this is only for bikes and if you want some knowledge on the motard seen, thats the place.

give it a try, or come down and watch for a night on Wed. it would be good to have more in the sport.
