Minibike riders SA

hey guys im fairly new to the bike scene, just bought myself a dhz dpro 140 should have it in my possesion this friday.Im keen to get out with other dudes and check out pt gawler, JAMS or anywere else to go, i also have a 4x4 and do trips thats why i bought the bike to chuck on the back.If anyone is heading out let us know. cheers Anton

no worries dude wlecome to the forum. im from SA myself. where did you hear pt gawler is open? it was closed, then open then closed again as far as i know. its hard to get a straight answer. where about u live? in adelaide itself?

Welcome, im from SA as well, im the only one on here out of my mates, but i have another 8 mates with minis, we go to port gawler, nearly every second weekend, so YES IT IS OPEN =)

Is it open in that you pay to ride? or is it just open land u can ride on?

my brother inlaw goes out near Truro a bit too.
aparently theres a few different tracks on crown land, (government owned but not used).
he's never had trouble from anyone out there eg neighbours or law
beginners to advanced and full on freestyle. ill try and get the directions and post em up on this thread.
bro inlaw goes camping there for the weekend, no houses around and quite a few get out on the weekends

please dont mate i know those tracks too found them while hunting for fourby tracks, the second tracks get posted on the net everyone goes there and it gets closed down, look wat has happened to morgan quarry.i go back to work on wednesday for 2 wks, i work in Moomba, when i get back im keen to go riding with some people.been running in the dpro in the paddock and gettin used to it, didnt think it would be soo gutsy lol.

Trust me theres not many mini riders from SA so i wouldnt worry about people going riding there.. port gawler is $20 a bike all day

Kris there aren't many mini riders but a **** load of bogans who ride mini bikes.

What happened to Morgan quarry? Police there now alot or fenced it all off?

hay i just joined but i got 2 maybe 3 mates who are keen too ride on sat and we had a farm out near gawler lined up but fell though so we prob be out pt gawler too, been there a few times and was hopeing for somewhere else but just dont any other places, is crown land alright to ride or do you get f**@ up by cops coz theres a few gullys round the place.
