hey all im fixing up a 1973 yamaha gt 80 and want to know what you guy think of making it a motard bike leave other ideas if you have any

depends wat u want to do with it. wat size rims does it have now, will it be road rego'd??? on a bike that old i would do the bare minimum

generally it cost the same to motard a shit bike as it does to do a good one

hahah nice, but I don't think it'll go too well around a motard track

hang on, is this thing complianced? If you got it rego'd that'd be so sweet ;)

compliance plate was lost 20 years ago i was told when i got it and i think its 14rear 17 front and ill just be riding it for fun

lol, the original "bigfoot" mini... heh heh..
First manual bike i rode was one of them... that was back in 1982... lol..
yeah the GT, DT and MX were all basically the same platform... just differences in the accessories to make them either road legal, or bogan legal, or illegal on the road..

Hey mate don't mean to envade your thread but just curious if you have any spare parts? Ive got one in the shed that we are planning to do a resto on and still has the compliance plate!!. Cheers Reece
