17front/35 rear sprokets will do 100kph
But that nealy it with the stock motor and they gearing

I wana get the tb64mm bore and v2 for it next also a 30 tooth back sproket would be good to try.
And a yx150 estart bottom end would be cool I could hock the estart back up aswell

I have this 12x2.75 rear mag rim to put on soon.
I just have to order a front 2.50 rim to match for $90 from china
They should look nice

looks good mate,
i bet that engine makes it a bit zippier around town
did you need to do much to register it with the new engine?

Its heap mad fun round town its out of rego rite now I lost my linence
To match the new motor with my rego I just need to take it for a blue slip again with the new motor then take that to the rta.
I havent yet but will when I re rego it soon im in nsw that what ive found out from the rta
Because I need a bike linence to ride it in nsw u dont have to keep it at 50cc

ok, thats a bit different to sa.

you can ride up to a 50cc on a car licence, then any bigger than 50cc we need a bike licence.

in SA we would need an Engineers certificate to register a 155 in a 50cc bike
i'm pretty sure we can only go up to 30% bigger than the original engine too ? not 300% bigger.

Yeah you will need to engineer it here in NSW too dunno where your info came from prox666 but i don't think you will find it as easy as you think you will we have the worst laws in Australia mate !!

The problem is you won't get the blue slip with that size motor without having an engineer certification .... For your sake I hope your right but I've got my doubts .... Either way good luck with it mate

So do I only need the engineer certificate if I keep it a 50cc or is that only if u wana go bigger than the stock motor

to have an engineer pass it, you'd need to have the frame strengthened,
bigger discs front and rear, better calipers, better forks shocks, handlebars, clamps etc

it's a bit like if you had a car and wanted to do an engine conversion,
say you have a 5.8 Litre V8 351 Falcon
and you want to put a 17.4 Litre 1404 V8 engine into it.

do you think it will still stop with that much power? stopping within a certain distance etc etc
and be stable when doing lane changes at a certain speed,

Exactly right ^^

Or in your case see if the stock equipment is up to the task .... either way its all money money money and most of the time just not worth the hassle ...

I mean yeah you can try do it doggy and get it passed i.e. grind number off head etc etc . BUT remember one thing buddy If they catch you out .... expect to be in some serious trouble .. they might not get you when you go for a blue slip but if you ran into a person on the street and worst case killed them and they find out that the motor in the bike has %300 more power than whats meant to be in it , you better buy a soap on a rope mate cause I'm pretty sure i know where you will be going ....

Ive been rideing it with this motor since I got it in 09.
I was told when I asked the rta u have 14days to change the rego numbers when u replace the motor

yeah to change the engine numbers.
but if it is anything like SA you need to fill in the engine CC's box too

Like i mentioned if you get busted in some unfortunate circumstance you will be in a bit of kaka !

You can't go throwing a v8 in a corolla and just change the engine numbers to suit the chassis numbers so I'm fair sure this would apply to bikes as well

I wouldn't be trying to dodge it thats for damn sure, coppers are gonna be on you like white in rice anyways being an odd ball in the pack as is.

I see wat u mean I never asked the rta about puting a bigger motor in I just asked wat to do if I replace it.
I will ring rta monday and ask about replaceing the orginal 50cc with a bigger cc motor
I realy want it done rite if I can

Does anyone know what they done to diffrent from the rx125 besides diffrent forks than the rx50
Im sure the brakes and the rest of the bike is the same and they added75cc more.
Just a side note the brakes on my rx50 did not realy work at all when I got it and the 50cc motor would be flat out doin 30 kph I dident even ride it on the road with the 50cc it was not safe.
