Trying to get the bike up to spec for rego.

A) the rear brake doesn't work at all.
upon inspection brake fluid is pumped to the rear caliper in very small amounts and on the master cylinder, the cylinder where fluid gets pushed up and out to the caliper, didn't have any brake fluid in it.

AND

B) both left side blinkers do not work sometimes but the right ones work normally.

any suggestions?

B) Check that all the wire's are connected and there is no damage causing a short in the circut, also check to make sure there is a good earth connection.

time to inspect your rear brake line and rebleed them breaks..

line is good and has been bled many times, gave me the *****.

well if its been bled, and inspected, yet its still loosing fluid, obviously its leaking out somewhere. cant give any other help without actually being there, will just come down to you doing the process of elimination.. replace, refill recheck, review, reply!

Hi mate, my RX had the same indicator problem, I removed the headlight, and there was a plug that wires coming down from the indicator switch come down into, there was a blue and orange wire that go into the plug that if you wiggle would rectify the problem, I ended up pulling those wires out of the plug and then using some new conections to join them together. Good luck.

They are mad fun on the street, you feel like your breaking the law but your not. I took mine on a really rugged fire trail in the bush yesterday, went really well, even up really steep hills.

Only thing i've done to mine so far is put an angled uni-filter on it so it's not sticking out, removed the cap at the end of the exhaust, and put a 17 tooth front sprocket for better top speed. Oh, and some dirt tyres.

I'm going to have put a smaller rear sprocket on too, it's still topping aout at 80 k's. Needs a 5th gear badly.

I got mine second hand with nsw rego, 08 model, so no pink slips for 5 years!

does anyone no what type license you need for the 125 RX?? found one near me but dont think i could ride it with a car license?

You need a motorcycle license or at least a motorcycle learners permit.
Can't legally be ridden on car license.

on my postie bike, if one bulb is blowen other blinker on that side doesnt' work. easy fix maybe?

Hey Dabomb, could you tell me where you got your 36 tooth rear sprocket, i'm on the hunt for one, gotta keep up with traffic somehow...

Oh, and the 146cc kit, was it easy to install, is the kit complete with everything you need, and does it make a big difference in power?

hye i got the sprocket from dhz on ebay.
ye thats the 146 kit.
its all u need to put it on.
ive heard people running this wif a 125 head have problems but ive got a lifan 140 head,
its not on at the moment so i cant tell you power factors cause the head is getting HD valve springs put in.

The 146 kits have a heap of compression with the stock small chamber GPX head ... so you have to be careful how you start 'em and also run higher octane fuel ... The Lifan BV heads lower the compression a bit so you can still run on standard unleaded ...
