Hat's off to you Dready ... You've gotta be physically and mentally tough to be in either the para troopers or commandos ... The only problem with Uncle Dennis was that he was a Sargeant and didn't know how to switch off after he left the force ... so we copped some military style discipline much to our disliking ...

So you've got compression ... is it ankylosing spondylitis ? I haven't got it in the lower back but my neck is bad ... Yes my Uncles calves were HUGE from all the training ... and he had the tiniest ankles ... it looked weird ... LOL ... You'll retain the calf definition and size for life ... Driving them thru the pain barrier on those walks long after they screamed at you to quit hones the friggers into your DNA ... The tissue remembers the trauma and is too scared to slacken off ... LOL ...

Dennis didn't maintain his training , got diabetes and died from cancer a few months ago at 67 ... still with big defined calves ... they hung on 'til the end ...

ankylosing spondylitis ? no but spondylitis rings a bell ...here it is ... widespread multilevel spondylosis characterised by disc protusions on 3 levels with irritive neuropathy right L4/L5,L5,L5/S1.

Worse it seems alot of fluid from my discs is on the way south through the annular tears ,I've seen it o c.t slowly running down my spine .

I try not to dwell on what they tell me ,I've been proving them wrong for a while now ... little victories but sweet none the less.

Shame to hear about Dennis it can be very hard for some to let go ...which is funny because D.V.A treat you worse than a dog and I had no trouble there at all ... got a few mates,still in the club but don't go to the meetings if ya know what I mean


And you're right my body remembers and knows the way ... and it lives in fear I'll do it again LOL

you knoq i didnt continue with science in year 11 for a good reason so i could get away from it all but instead its now on miniriders!!!! and really cactus is something you dont know???? i reckon you could tell me the full deatil of one of them air bus planes

It's a forum dude ... just read what you wanna read and ignore the rest ... I reckon someone needs to tell the makers of those new air buses how to build planes since they're unsafe and crash ... over 200 people at the bottom of the ocean will agree with that and so do the pilots who are refusing to fly 'em ...

Maybe you should have went on with science ... that way you could have developed the ability to teach yourself how to solve problems ... It's all related ...
