My 125 vs my friend 110... I lost. What are some inexpensive upgrades to make mine ALOTfaster?

I Recently Took Apart My Bike, Frame off, Exhaust off, Grips off, Handle bars off, you get the point. This is because i raced my friend on his Extreme pit and he beat me:flipa:.
He has a 110 and mine is a 125. i want to make mine go ALOT faster!!! What are some inexpensive upgrades to get for this goal and where do i get them?

How much do you weigh and how much does he weigh? Power/weight ratio is a large factor when you are dealing with 7-12hp bikes.

I weigh 140 and he weighs 120. but his was in 3rd gear and out of nowhere he took off!! AND I WAS MAXED!

change your final gearing

you will find you would have got to speed quicker but his top speed was faster

so bigger on the front of smaller on the back

So change my 4th gear? How do i do that and what part is best for that? And i ordered a 37t rear sprocket. Should I change the front to a 17t?

Because im rebuilding my whole bike. Color scheme is gonna be White Plastics and Blue everything else. I ordered a blue cnc exhaust today and blue pro taper density grips

dunno if new colours, plastics and grips are gonna make your bike faster, but I could be wrong!
