My New But Old Atomik 150

Hi all i brought a used atomik nitrous 150 off a guy at work he said it was a 110 but he was wrong and i was cheering for $50 was thinking mad it will just need a few things but i was wrong anyway i got it home and first thing i did was drain oil and man it looked like the stuff that was in there origanally so the oil lines and cooler was pulled off to drain all the crap from them as well will check valve clearances and plug tomoz and will keep u informed on how it all is but for now i have a few pics for yous:

looks like it's just been lying around for a long time... pitty about the gaping hole in the air filter though, that could make for some unwanted problems

yer i know hopefully nothing to serious i plan to try and start it tomoz arvo and ill try and get a vid of it failing to start lol and yer u arnt wrong logic mmmmmmm entree lol oh and this runs the crf50 style plastics right

ok so today was a success got home from work and threw the bike on the back went to the servo put fuel in the tank and air in the tyres then went to repco and got a new spark plug then went home and did the valve clearances and OMFG i have nevver seen clearances that bad that when u kick the bike ova it feels like there is n plug in it lol so set them cleaned out the carb put new oil in a bit of stuffing around the the idle and 3 kicks later she fired into life yay compression is good and it revs good i took a video but it was after i took it for a quick spin up the road http://s290.photobucket.com/albums/ll265/minibiker05/?action=view&current=77dc9b7c.mp4

Is there a reason y when I try and kick it seams like it jams and I have to push it down slowly then boot it or wont go down

Just A Quick Update

ok just a quick update got a few parts so far here is a few pics:

ok so i have got a new rear carlsbad tyre front and rear rim locks new air filter and got new plastics and a seat

Still to buy:
New Front Tyre:Millville 60/100 14"
New Bars:Most probally protaper copys or genuine ones whatever is taller
Racing Coil:8.5mm splitfire
New Chain:Cheep KMC 120l
New Throttle:1/4 turn just want a cheepie
New clutch cable:Braided one from dhz
New grips:some nice protaper pillow tops
it will be a few weeks before i do anything as i need to focus on my revmx and get ready for the 2nd

nice bargain! for $50 i wouldnt expect it to start even. looking good tho! should be kicking from TDC. when you go too fast the compression will build up too quickly and it will stop as there isnt enough momentum in the crank to overcome it.

its all good now it is just hard to find TDC with not alot of compresion but yer it runs great carb needs a slight tune
