I need some machine work done for the silver Pootroll anybody with a lathe around north brissy to sunny coast? its a basic job, bore a hole out. Machine shops want a fortune its a 10 min job

You could try contacting any local Tafe's that have Mechanical courses/Fitter and Turner's etc, they are always looking for small jobs to do and tech their students ?

Far out dude that thing is a beast!!

How the hell did you get out of that last pic without winching it?

Hey you could ask Glen at Suncoast Pitbikes he's got a couple of small lathes and is happy to do small/basic machine work! Normally only charges $20-30 for a 10min job.

Oh yeah i've bought some stuff from him before forgot he had a lathe. Not gunna lie motorman I wasn't driving it in that last pic, i've had it at worse angles than that and got out with only a few skid marks on the seat, having both diffs locked makes a lot of stuff easy.

So I had to go to a staff meeting the morning after closing the joint so I was sleep deprived and a little cranky. Come back out to the car she's a no goer, flick the key on and off and no noise from the fuel pump, checked the relay was clicking made sure power was getting to it which was all sweat, so I pulled the sender out and the pump was roached which is probably my fault (over heated it). luckily i gave it a hit and it worked long enough to get home. a few days later the new pump arrived and shes a goer again.

The patrol has been without powersteering for a little while mounting a standard holden unit is a mission so i'm slowly addressing that. using an ls1/v6 pump with a 11a pulley up front and remote resevoir.
vx v6 pump, the tensioner is two rose joint's at both end's of a marine turnbuckle

remote res bracket i threw together. one of these will be welded to it Universal Power Steering Tanks

Ill sort the pulley out soon hopefully and then I should have a reliable powersteering system:grinning-smiley-003.

Coming along nicely.

haha how good is the love tap?????? Always get's you home.
