Hey Guys,

Last friday I picked up my new pride and joy - a PSTO TL140. It is second hand and was in fantastic nick for $550.

Since getting it I have pulled the 140cc motor out so that I can install my modified z160ho motor. I have hit a snag with the exhaust not fitting perfectly, has anybody else run into this problem? Any recommendations on a solution?

 
At the same point in my build ahaha

need a klx bend pipe to work. I might make a want to buy thread now, just to get in first ;)
 
Looks good. Any other plans for your new aquisition?
 
haha beat me to it. Let me know if you find anything that would suit that you dont end up buying.

Im not too sure where to go from here, I find that the suspension is pretty soft so I might need to look at some suspension options down the track. Any other suggestions for the bike?
 
Im also thinking about either spraying the plastics black or buying some new black plastics. I havnt found a sticker kit that appeals to me yet but im sure that there is one out there
 
Does anybody have some good websites for ttr110 graphics?
 
only nice kits are custom mate, you will be looking at $160 + for one too.
 
Damn that's no good, I've got a bunch of goodies on the way for the bike and was hoping that I could find a nice black sticker kit with a tiny bit of red.

Hey Carlts, could you possibly give me the linkage bearing sizes also?
 
Well I ordered a pipe off eBay with a klx bend, waited 2 weeks and it doesn't fit my frame! What pipe should I be looking at?

Carlts what pipe are you running?
 
To me mate that engine looks as if it has a crf50 exhaust port. Can you bolt it up to the head, heat it up and bend it into position like a few other guys have!

Yeah I'm pretty stumped, the stock crf bend pipe didn't work either! I could bend it but it seems a bit small for the frame so I will need to do a fair bit of work.

What pipes are people with similar setups to me running?
 
The GPX runs a crf style exhaust port, so as far as options go you'd really have to either bend one yourself or get one second hand off someone with a linkage bike that had a GPX engine!!!

I spoke to DHZ and I can get an LXR exhaust with either the CRF or KLX bend. Im a bit confused now as 8r3ndo told me that the head is crf but others have told me that it is klx? Which is it? as I want to get a pipe bolted up asap
 
Hey mate all I know is that if the inlet/manifold port is kind of straight with the barrel then it is a crf bend, if it is angled it is a klx bend. From the picture I saw it looked more straight then bent so if you can tell or want to throw a picture up of your engine straight on I could tell better. Here is mine with a crf bend exhaust port.
