ok well i noticed after rideing my bike 4 a wile that my weel was slightly over on the left side so i looked at the spokes and sum wer sorta loose and i found that 2 of my spokes wer broken i tride muckin around with it tonite and tightening the spokes to get the weel straight but i gave up lool ill fiddle with it 2moro..dose anyone no if looseing 2 spokes would b such a big deal?

Very big deal, eventually they will all get lose, when I say eventually I mean within the next ride or two. Get them sorted asap as you will soon be up for a new wheel. A good mate of mine that is a member of this forum had a couple of loose spokes and 1 broken, after 5 mins of riding his rim was missing about 15 spokes and his tyre, tube and wheel were destroyed, Doesn't help that after 2 mins the tyre was flat and he rode it like a mad man anyway.
I had a go at re-lacing a wheel on the weekend and to my surprise I found it therapeutic, It took me a few goes but I got there in the end with great results...

I hear you need some sort of spoke tightening wrench to tighten the spokes and theres no other way to do it but buy it?!

well obviously im gona tighten and fix my well but thers not much i can do about the 2 missing spokes?...unless i go get the hole weel re spoked with thicker stronger spokes witch costs $175..and u garanteed thay wont brake but im not into spending that kinda money atm so i mite just buy a new rim when i get bak from malaysia..im suprized about ur freinds weel..i was rideing my bike 4 like 3 hours with loosish spokes and an un straight weel and only lost 2 spokes lol

I don't understand why you need to get the whole wheel re-spoked when your only missing two. Get the two that are missing replaced and the rest tightened and the wheel trued, shouldn't cost more than $40.

Where do u guys take your wheel to get your spokes fixed???

I reckon it would be cheaper and easier just to ebay a new wheel with a tyre on it. Im not sure you have to go to a china friendly bike shop to get the wheel fixed. Not many up here in qld. I can't believe how nasty the jap bike shops are about them I guess they are losing money. But what do the jap manfacturers expect? They ignored the market and never put any any research and developement into their bikes waiting for the aftermarket to fix their problems. Well guess what the aftermarket can make a bike of better value and resonable quality. Ha.

I can understand why you wouldnt want to work on a China bike and there is a couple of reasons.
1. The owner has probably only paid $600 - $900 for a bike and may not be so willing to pay the $ to do a repair.
2. Parts can be a problem, with a Jap bike you can get a manual with exploded diagrams of every different part right down to nuts bolts and washers listed by part no. If you need a part you just order it and its correct.
3.china bikes have a habit of breaking down and a repair shop dosent want people coming back complaining about the fact that they just had their bike serviced and it broke the first ride.
4. If you pull something apart and cant source a part you can find it hard to charge a customer for labor when the bike is still broken.

In saying all that it pisses me off that they dont want to know you as I recon that a shop that repairs china bikes would do good business.

Yeah it sucks there are not many china freindly bike shops around
