Need a little help

So I picked up this bike about 8 years ago when I was racing, and used it just to tool around the pits. I don't know much about it, but I do know its a 125cc sem-auto that runs ok. I promised my son as soon as he got old/big enough that it was going to be his bike. It's finally that time and he's chomping at the bit. As you can see its needs a lot of TLC and I am not very confident safety wise to let him loose on it. The front end needs to be replaced but I am not entirely sure what to order or where to order a set of forks, stem, and triple from. Any advice? Also will any of the CRF50 plastics work for this guy? They look like they should fit, but just want to be sure.

the plastics are off of an older xr 50 but im pretty sure that you can crf 50 plastics on it. Are you in Australia or America because there are a couple of sites you can buy parts off
