Need Carby help! 125 Ducar motor

Hi, i would like to replace my carby on a 125 Ducar motor. At the moment it has a 19mm JK carby.
After reading a few posts on here i'm liking the sounds of either a Molkt or Mikuni 26mm and fitting 105 main jet and 20 pilot (or close to those numbers).

Any advice would be appreciated......

i'd steer away from the Mikuni, unless you go for a genuine (read expensive) one... go with a molkt or OKO, no bigger than a 26mm for a 125... 24 would be better if you can find one... and yeah, the jets you've mentioned will be pretty close, maybe start with a #92-95 for a 125cc engine.

Looks like the Molkt is the go. Ill grab one of them jet kits as well and have a play. Out of curiosity will there be a noticable power gain?

i cant comment on the power gains possible with the Molkt carbies... DamoJay could probably answer that, he's had a bit of experience with the molkt carbies, and tuning them. They seem to prefer the same jetting specs as the mikunis, and use Mikuni jets.
I would imagine there would be noticeable power gains from the Molkt, particularly if they are jetted properly. The OKO's, definately give a very noticeable power gain over a mikuni of similar size, and i imagine the Molkts would be similar, but with different characteristics. (the OKO's offer very noticeable gains in top end performance, i *believe* the molkts offer lesser, but more overall performance gains.)

i would go with a molkt 26mm mate, a bit hard with the jetting as i have experienced lol but it goes damn hard even when my jetting was a little out . OKO's u may have to spend a little more but go the molkt, affordable and good power gain.

^^agreed... it depends on your riding and tuning skills as to which i'd suggest... if you're relatively new to both, go with the Molkt... if you know what you're doing tuning wise, and like a motor with a bit of top end sting, go with the oko...

stay away from the molkt either ...lol...get a Keihin PE24mm from fleabay with a set of jets and a racing cam from Akunar and your dukar will fly!!

24mm and only 24mm...the engines only 119 cc if its got the tiny lil 19mm carby fitted...

engine number will have a 52 in it somewhere...if it has 54 in it, then you could use a 26mm...

brand wise...no idea what ever suits your budget...
