ok so i'm new to this site and not to sure if i posted in the right spot.

So I just bought a 250 hummer off a buddy of mine, he bought it last year and never really rode it casue he couldnt figure it out so he left it sitting for a year, i got it goin, and for some reason when ever i try to give it more then a 1/4 throttle it just starts to bog out, any answers? i'm thinkin spark plug but i live in cananda and not to sure where i can buy a new spark plug for it or if theres any brands that make the same size. greatly appriciated if anyone can help.

Thanks. so i found a crossover for the spark plug and i picked my self up a NGK plug which now the bike can start, but still bogs. about the starting thing i took it out yesterday for about 30 min then turned it off and didnt want to start back up, electric wouldnt work even kick wouldnt, spent 3 hours at a closed gas station waiting for a ride lol

Take the plug out and check u actually have a spark , also check the fuel line does not have any kinks in it and the filter is not blocked.

hey man i got one myself and it did tha same thing wiv me, mine was as simple as the float in the carby kept getting stuck, tap the side of tha carby, but a mate of mine got the full size KUDA pro and had the same prob, turned out the breather wasnt letting the tank bresth, he replaced it and now its fine, never no!!!

ive got a couple 250`s, i havent had any problems with the hummer but i have had a bogging down problem in my atomik. try the following.

Air breather tube on the fuel tank - Cut it off or modify it so you know air is getting in there

Double check the fuel line- Best thing is to remove the brittle, plastic stuff and put rubber hose on, and when you put the tank back onto the bike, look under it and double check there is no kinks due to frame, cdi.. ect.

Take off the air filter and give it a clean (you never know you it might be blocked)

Check your starting/running the bike correct. On all my 250`s you start with the choke in the up position, once the bike starts move the choke to the middle or "detent" position. Dont warm up the bike with the choke in the up position. Then let the bike idle at the middle position for 1-2 minutes. Then finally move the choke to the lowest point, and let the bike idle for another 2-3 minutes.

Let me know how you go. It will most likely be something simple, once you iron out the kinks of owning one of these 250`s they are pretty fun.
