need help with my orion

hey my new orion is finally broke in its got maby 4 hours on it. its been runnin great untill lately. after about 5 minutes of ridding really good, it starts running like crap. when i give it any gas it sounds like its going to die, like its chokin itself out and it cant do much but idle. It wont run at all. am i over heating it? do they over heat that easy or is it something else? please help

sounds like youve got crap in carby,

did you flush fuel tank before hooking hose up to carby when you bought it?

the tank is usually full of plastic shavings,

take the carby bowl off, and i think youll find rubbish in there.

lol i never did with mine but had no probs yet but its good thing to check. Maby fuel lines too and fuel filter, air filter? i dunno im just throwing out ideas.

Ha Mate I Had The Same Problem The Wiring On The Orians Are Not Solded You Have To Go Through All The Conectors And Solder All The Wires .both Mine And My Brothers Done The Same Thing.

Unscrew the bowl from your carby, clean all the shit out. Chuck it back on and give it a go.

pulled the carb off and cleaned it before i posted... but just yesterday went and ripped the the shit out of it and it ran great. i did mess with the idle screw which makes no sense, but im not real good with those cheap carbs. Maby what ever it wuz either made its way through and burned up or it was the idle screw. either way im still wondering about the wire issues. Is it nessacary to solder all them? If so will do thanks much.

that happens to me whne i do one thing, when im about to load the bike into the boot and since it is on its side the fuel left into the carby spills out, so i turn the fuel off and it runs for about 3 minutes, when it gets weak and i revv it it almost cuts out, when i let it go it sounds good again, obviously the fuel isn't getting through that means, try taking off the carby and clean it out and shit.

yeah mine did this, your fuel is too rich, move the E-clip up a notch or two!

hey, that just happened 2 me on the weekend, no fuel is getting the the engine, it has enough and can survive on fumes just to idle but them u open the throttle it will stall, check the fuel like and there is nuthin clogged in the carby

shit i thought i was alone with this problem but obviously not lol ive cleaned out the carbie many time but it will start to happen after a few rides again im starting to think i might just spend the money and get a new carbie

my orion done the same thing after about the same amount of time ..
are u gettin enuf fuel thru ?? the orions come with shabby fuel lines and filters ..
replace them and take of the filter .. u dont need itt ... and then see wat happens ..
thats only if theres not enuf fuel gettin thru
