New paint job

Hey guys,
I have decided to spray my dirt bike. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions or pics of good looking jobs. The reason i am doing this is that i am going to make it my craft major. Its gonna take a while because i have to buy the plastics and the paints and i might do some airbrushing at school.

Heres a pic of one of my ideas..the colours are crap because i used a crayon lol and a lead pencil.

HaHa yeah, ill b careful wen im riding if they are on..and ill keep tha old ones! Should look good when its done i mite try and get a metallic orange paint..does anyone know the best place for paints around adelaide..or preferably in victor harbor?

Do they stock good car spray can paints and also metallic spray can paints. Actually what is the best type of paint for painting these bikes?

yep, u need a plastic paint, other wise it will peel off and u wont have any paint left !

Call FIBERNEW OR FIBREFIX he is in adelaide down near morphett race course, i had a little leak in my tank, he fixed it well, he is a great guy. He does leather and plastic lounge jobs, and has heaps of info and products that will help u out

hey im new to this forum but i thought id throw my 2 cents in.

i work at an auto spares and get people wanting to paint plastic stuff like bumpers etc, you dont need special plastic paint. what you do need is to use a plastic primer. this differs from normal primer and alows good adhision between the plastic and the paint. any good auto spare should be able to mix paint to any colour you choose, and give you plenty of advice also .

Dammit no one in Victa has the colour i want (matallic orange..kinda like the holden mica colour) Ive checked repco and sprint and neither have n e thing good just the primer. Anyone know of a good paint place around victa or in adelaide who have a good range of car paints?
