As dready said, only do with it what you need to.

Grab another rear shock to better suit your weight, maybe a higher set of bars for better handling and rider comfort and yeah..get rid of the battery altogether.

Just use it for what you planned and you wont be dissapointed!

Ok i bought that DNM shock in the link. Big thank you to "MiniFighter" for pointing it out to me.

The battery has allready been turfed, as it was flat anyway.

Don't worry i'm not going to spend too much money on it. Like i said i'm happy with the power and i don't really want to go any faster, plus it's pretty rough where i'm riding anyway. I just want to sort the suspension so it's not bottoming out on every bump i hit and possibly a larger front wheel.
Other than that i will just leave it as is.

Rear shock now in. Only issue is that the width of the eyes is different to the original so there is a small amount of wobble, most likely a washer on either side would sort it.

Being careful until i get some washers, i sat on the bike and it feels a whole lot more stable. Before when i sat on it , it just felt loose and unstable, so much better now. It also feels as though i am higher up, all though there is only 5mm in length, probably because their isn't as much travel now when i sit on the bike.

I also ordered some Pro Taper replica bars should arrive shortly.

Good stuff mate, updated pic when you get around to it lol

Oh, i also forgot to mention that the shock doesn't clear the exhaust, well the muffler anyway. Obviously the easiest thing for me to do was just remove the exhaust.

It is essential to have a muffler ? It would be easy for me to remove the muffler and bend the pipe in a few places so it will clear everything, but the muffler is welded on, so it could be a bit of a time consuming excersise.

Just by comparing pictures it seems that the swing arm is angled down a lot more now than previously, is this ok?

Next on the agenda is fitting the new handle bars when they arrive, and painting over those horrid US graphics.
