is it a legitimate ngk and would it need a splitfire lead as well?

Rodney68 uses one of these NGK coils, with the Splitfire lead on his sons bike.
he also noticed the enhanced spark from using the lead

Yes the NGK Race Coil is a great product and is even better with the Spitfire lead smoother idle and better through the whole rev range.

sweet, the gpx125 has been popping and farting a bit and i was told it was due to spark quince.... gonna buy 2 so ive got one for the x4r build as well thanks fellas

Thats ok mate. Also i thought i would say when i installed the Spitfire Lead to the NGK Race Coil on the Braaap YX170 i had to go up 1 size on the pilot jet and up 1 on the main jet also because of the stronger spark because it was leaning out after installing it.

The Splitfire lead you can find on ebay for $12.50
I use a cheap Performance coil on mine, i paid $22 delivered
but you can get them cheaper if you search.

that NGK coil was cheap too, there is another seller asking $75 for the same thing

U can get a kitaco super coil for around $65:to 70 from webike or jparts
